DIY "Friendship Bracelet"

Ever wondered how the beautiful people of Lookbook, instagram, tumblr and etc. get those amazing 
friendship bracelets? Yeah sure you're able to create them easily but how the heck do they get those 
embellishments? such as crystals and chains??

Well here is a step by step photo tutorial by Alysa Dela Cruz!

Things you'll need Friendship bracelet (candy stripe or Chevron, well whatever you have is great!)
Chain lanyard (bought at a craft store)
Crystal lanyard (bought at a craft store)
Embroidery Needle

So lets get started! 

THE CANDY STRIPE




A. Candy Stripe Crystal Embellishment
1.  Measure the size of your crystals according to the length of your bracelet! 
so that you wouldn't have a hard time while fixing it up
2. The key point to this tutorial is to sow your crystals through your bracelet. Hold on to the lanyard 
towards the side of your bracelet and thread through the backside of the bracelet.
3. Do this continuously until 
you reach towards the end of your lanyard. 
4. Your creation should look like the bottom picture! :)
5. do a double stitch to lock it together and Voila! 


CHEVRON





B. Chevron Crystal Embellishment
1. Measure your crystal depending on the length of your chevron.
2. Place your crystal at the middle where your chevron meets, thread through the backside of your chevron 
and stitch through the 2nd link on each side. 
3. Do this continuously until your reach the end of the chevron.
4.  Your creation should look like the bottom picture :)
5. Do a double stitch to lock your thread in.


CHAIN LINK CANDY STRIPE



C. Chain link Candy Stripe.
1. Measure your chain according to the length of your candy stripe
2. Lay down your chain and bracelet on a flat surface to check where you'll start your stitch! 
thread through the backside of your bracelet onto the first link of your chain. then stitch through the 
second row of each panel of your bracelet or depending on the size of your chain.
3. work through it continuously until you reach the bottom.
4.Your creation should look like the bottom picture.
5. Do a double stitch through your bracelet to lock your chain in!
